The construction of new sidewalk on Jaalan Swadarma Raya, Ulujami Urban Village, Pesanggrahan Sub-district, South Jakarta is completed.

Pesanggrahan Sub-district's Bina Marga Implementer Unit Head, Anton, said the construction is commitment of South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency to improve the pedestrian comfort.

He added that five Yellow Taskforce personnel were deployed to construct the sidewalk along 61.5 meter and 1.3 meter width.
He hopes the new sidewalk will improve the safety and comfort for pedestrian and beautify the surrounding area.
"We constructed the sidewalk in 21 days. We appeal local residents to maintain the sidewalk also," he added.
Meanwhile, one of local residents, Rahmat (48), admitted happy with the new sidewalk. Previously, local residents used roadside to walk.
"The new sidewalk is constructed well," he admitted.
